    opened. When I click to play a regular Mpeg2 file, 6mbps or so, 160khz audio, it doesn't start playback. It simply stops, like it's reached the end of the file. When I click the play button, it will play the file. I have WMP10. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and is there something I'm missing? Some codecs or something?

    install a mpeg2 codec like
    NVIDIA PureVideo Decoder
    Dscaler MPEG Filters
    GPL MPEG-1/2 Decoder
    Stinkys MPEG2 Codec

    or a software dvd player like
    PowerDVD
    WinDVD
    and you should be able to play mpeg2 with wmp.

    or play mpeg2 with
    VLC Media Player
    Media Player Classic
