    Hi,

I have two similar (Almost) AVI files (See attached picture)

I converted those two files using DVD2SVCD (TMPGENC as a converter).

The left file - is OK.
The rigt file - Only the Video converted. I couldn't hear any audio.

What is the problem (I can see that the soundtrack bitrate is different. I have other files with 16000Hz)

    How to convert those files?

You could run the odd one through Virtualdub and change the sampling rate. Personally, I would change both to 48K.

Thanks for your reply: I downloaded VirtualDub. How to resample the audio, only?

    Load your video into VD.

Under Audio select 'Full Processing'. Under compression select 'No Compression' (PCM in your case).
Under Conversion select 48000Hz (If you are going to go to MPEG-2 or 44000Hz for MPEG-1).

Under Video select the codec you are using (Divx in your case), then 'Direct Stream Copy'. Then 'Save As' with a new title.

I haven't done this for a while, but it should just re-encode the audio with no change in the video. The audio filesize may change a little. This operation should only take a minute or two.
