I hope someone can help me with this one

I'm creating presentation movies that will be displayed on 16:9 plasma displays.

I've read through a couple of posts, it's clear the pixels are different in case of 4:3 or widescreen modes. The final encoding is made in tmpgenc, its settings are clear.

    My basic question is:
I've put together the presentations in Flash. The DVD resolution is 720x576. What size should I create the presentation to be able to convert without distortion or any loss?

Do I need to count with the different pixel sizes of the 4:3 and widescreen modes?

I don't know why I've let this post to the last minute , but I hope someone can help.

    thanks

of course to be included in a dvd project...

    I was trying since....

but the biggest problem is distortion... if I make the dvd in 16:9 the presentation part always be strecthed horizontically...?
    like a 4:3 strectched to 16:9....

    anyone ?

If your 16:9 footage is anamorphic encoded and converted with aspect ratio 16:9, then yes, any 4:3 material will be stretched.
If you can change the presentation material to anamorphic, then everything will be ok, but you might of course loose something on top and bottom.
