Hello,
I've been using an ATI All in Wonder 7500 card for the last few years as my PVR instead of a VCR and am looking to change it for 3 reasons.
(1) I'm getting a bright/dark slow flickers when I capture certain show. I believe this is a Macrovision issue that I thought I had dealt with before but it's cropping up again..or it could be the card is dying
(2) Color settings are WAY off (too bright) and the software doesn't have enough color control setting
(3) From reading in the forums and my own experience, the software and setup can be a pain as a lot of times I have to uninstall/reinstall the same s/w mulitple times.
Anyway, so I'm looking for suggestions on a new card. I currently run an AMD 1.8 GHZ processor on Windows 2000 Pro with 1GMB memory.
I'm looking for a card that accepts co-axial connections, tv capture for VCD, DVD, and Xvid/Divx for less than $300.
Any help would be great. Thanks guys
Paolo
