    My groupmates and I made our project using my sisters Sony Digital 8 DCR TRV-140. I need to put the videos on my PC and edit them and put some effects. So far its connected to a USB and i dont know how to get the files. Thanks.

    i did get to stream the video on windows movie maker. quality is not that good even at 640x480 at 2.1mbps. the thing is, when extract the video, i can barely hear the sound, how do i amplify it?

    Use IEEE-1394 for full quality DV video transfer (as good as it gets with that camcorder).
    The USB connection is intended for low bitrate internet streaming.
