  1. Hi,
I've been trying to capture video from a webcam for the purpose of broadcasting over the internet using Visual c++ .net 2003. I've bought the book "Programming Directshow for digital video and television" and donloaded the directX SDK to assist me, however, the examples given aren't exactly what I'm looking for. All of the examples have code for the Windows API included, ie, to display a window to show the Output of the webcam. As I am using Visual C++ all the displaying will be done using Windows Forms (which makes my life a whole lot easier). With the extra windows code included I'm finding it hard to sift through the source and find the code that is specifically for the capture. Has anybody got any source code that will just capture a frame from the webcam and store it in a variable, with no windows code at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards
    Carl.

  2. I did use directX and DotNet to build up a video/audio conference. Shoot me an email or pm me. I can give you some direction.
