    do you do them for free or is your time so valuable that you charge them?

    I'm just asking as I've see some people charging their relatives for stuff I would do for free. Saying that I'm getting close to charging certain friends as I do so much for other people regarding technical stuff that I could probably earn a living

    I dont charge close family, but I have WAYYY too many friends not to charge. If I didnt, this place would be known as the 'technical outreach', and like everyone else..I have bills to pay!

    If I know you well enough to do you a favor, I probably won't charge you. I'm just like that. It's not like I'm not busy with work and family, but I'm a pushover when it comes to people asking me for help. If helping one of my family or friends will really interrupt my schedule, I just tell them that I can't do it, instead of charging them any money.
