Does anybody watch this crap? I was just watching about 2 seconds of this show and it's always the same. Some guy driving too fast is being pursued by a police car that is driving too fast. The funny part is the narrator describing the scene. He keeps commenting on the speed of the guy trying to get away, or the guy speeding through the busy intersection. Meanwhile, the cop in pursuit is doing the same damn thing! He's driving at the same break-neck speed, running through the same busy intersection. Most of the chases result in the Police car running the driver off the road, or the driver of the car being pursued crashing.

How does pursuing the speeding driver, while speeding, make their actions any more justified? I can't tell you how many times a year I hear about a traffic accident resulting in some bastard cop chasing a speeder, and the chase ultimately resulting in the death of the guy being pursued.

I realize that police need to enforce laws, but is it necessary to glorify their stupidity on a show like this?

    F Sheriff John Bunell!!!

I used to watch these shows but IMO there's far too many reality based shows - I now really make an effort NOT to watch this crap.

this is normally on late on Channel 5 here in the UK. The break neck speeds or wild stunts are sometimes pretty lame but the commentator tries to make it sound exciting

I'm not glorifying speed or wreckless driving but I did a bit in my boyracer days that would probably appear on that show

what is funny is the way they show parts over & over again while showing it along with the cheesy commentary. You can see how it's edited as the clock shows different times and jumps to different parts as don't show it in order

  4. I have watched it but don't really care for it. I'm not a big fan of any of the reality shows. Now we're being bombarded with courtroom shows. When will it end?

Ive seen the show many times since it first aired....you'd be suprised at the real-life stuff that can go on, as most common people will never notice. I find it hillarious at times, and the way John talks about those suspects just says that he's been in law enforcement for too many years...lol. I like it more for the entertainment value.

They have this on SpikeTV. This is supposedly a network for guys... I have yet to see it. I mean, with the seemingly interminable lineup of hidden camera shows, and Star Trek re-runs, how is this "guy tv" at all?

ha...next to TechTV (excuse me, G4), SpikeTV is the biggest joke of a channel there is. If the crap they air is what men are supposed to LIKE to watch then society is doomed. I mean come on...market research anyone?

When they tried the "male" (read: oozing with sex) type shows, the network almost failed. CSI, MXC and Star Trek re-runs has it doing pretty well, actually.

Well, the upside to the Spike channel was when they started airing the 3 Stooges back in April....I was very glad of that because that gave me the chance to redo my collection and trash the old VHS tapes I had from a few years back. And with much better quality to put on DVD.
