I was wondering if it was possible to convert 16:9 (widescreen) to 4:3

I was told that IfoEdit was the tool to use but I am at a loss on how to use it or even what to do!!! If you think there is a better tool can you please help me out.

    Thanks in Advance

This is what I have been told:

its easily fixed using IFOedit....open the IFO for each Widescreen episode (think there were only 3 of them that were in W/S)in the bottom window double click the video details and check the 4:3 radio button and save...probem solved

What exactly does that solve ? Unless you are trying to fix a disk that was authored incorrectly, doesn't this just cause the image to appear stretched ?

  4. If you're trying to convert a widescreen movie to a fullscreen movie by cropping off the sides and removing any black bars above and below the video, then as both Baldrick and guns1inger have said, you're going about it the wrong way. You do have to reencode. Doing what was suggested to you by using IFOEdit will only screw up the appearance of the movie.
