I've been struggling to get my card configured correctly. I really don't have a clue as to how to go about getting a good picture.
Here's my setup
Win98se
Athlon 700
256mb
Hauppauge WinTV 401
I have the most recent DirectX drivers installed (8.1)
I'm running the card with vfw drivers.
My problem is that when I run Dscaler the sound and the video are very staticky. However if run the WinTv2000 the video is much better, although its still kinda of blurry. Unfortunately there does'nt appear to be any filters or options in the WinTV app.
Should I upgrade Win98 to Win2k?
Or should I be using a different set of drivers for the WinTV card?
Thanks for any help or advice you can pass on to me
