Has anyone ever heard of Peerflix ? Besides the price, what's the difference between that and netflix ? I've read a little about this, but I'm not sure I understand how it works.

Yeah I've seen that. Its basically just a trading service. You put up DVDs you are willing to trade and they earn you a certain amount of points. When someone purchases that DVD of yours you get a notification to mail it to them. With your points you purchase other DVDs and those people will mail them to you. You additionally have to pay the service 99 cents for each trade. When you get a DVD you can keep it if you want to, you actually purchased it even though you could use the service like a rental service if you wanted to and I think that's the idea. Seems too unreliable to me. Maybe the other guy won't mail on time, or not at all or maybe it will be all scratched up.
