I'm trying to compare a DVD rip encoded in SVCD and XVCD. I use the vcdhelp bitrate calc for both, with the same length clip and set for 80min CD. The SVCD encode is 756megs, wich seems about right, but the XVCD is only 667...which seems right for a 650meg CD, but a little small for a 700. Is there a problem with the calc or is it something to do with XVCD?
Thanks
