Using Virtual Dub

As a computer semi-illiterate dummbo,my question is .
When using Virtual Dub to convert video files,where does the output file go?
Is it just me ,or is the button layout not too bright?
(when compared to TMPGE...its like night and day)

??????Have a look when you save the film as it asks you were you want to put it when you chose the save as option.surely you typed in a name for you file when you saved it ie capture.avi or something like that go to find files or folders in start menu type in its name and there it shall be

When you go into capture mode, you can set it to whatever you want under file->set capture file

if you don't select anything it will save it where you source video is coming from.

boy was that a brain fart, I was thinking of tmpenc, ignor last post, read the guide, you can select where it goes.
