    Great Product!

My one query is how to boost the volume on movies. I have been converting some of my (Paid for!) DVD's to smartmovie to watch on the train, and the quality is amazing. HOvewver the volume is always REALLY quiet, even after maxing out the volume level in preferences.

I have often had to double the volume in Quick time and then re-use ffmpegx to boost the volume again. Any ideas?

Try the Audio Gain (+0 to +9) option in the Audio tab of ffmpegX.

I have done, it's just sooo quiet. I have had to run it through ffmpeg x twice at +9 to get anything that is audible when there is other ambient noise - ie, on a tube (through headphones)

Try to normalize audio checking the box in the audio tab. This should gain it as loud as it can be without overdriving.
If this is still too quiet, I ask me if other audio things you play are louder?
