Hello,

When I try to begin a basic recording using this vcr, the vcr will shut itself off after about 3 seconds. I have my dish dual tuner dvr hooked up to vcr and vcr to tv. I really don't know why it would turn itself off. I have vhs-et set to off. I have s-vhs mode set to off. When my vcr is off, auto flashes. I just don't see what else I can do.
