i'm using adobe premiere with a firewire connection and a jvc digital camera. and when i capture dv video, it always stops are approx the same time. about 14min into the tape, at about 3.10gigs for the avi file. and i dont know what happens. premiere gives me an unknown error popup msg.
i'm using ntfs for the file system. have 28gigs free space.
i dont know what seems to be wrong. is the avi file type not supported beyond that size limit for some reason?

I had a similar problem with my Sony D8 TRV361 camera. In my case the transfer ended because the camera auto turned off. Now I always disable this feature when transferring video. Check if your camera has something similar.
