At a friend's warehouse, I was looking through some boxes of cables and connectors, and found a working Pioneer MP-1000 Video Disc Player sitting there. I asked my friend what he was planning to do with it and he replied NOTHING. He also has 30 old video discs. If anyone collects equip such as this, I will gladly give you his contact info regarding. I haven't a clue what it's worth, nor does he. Make him an offer!

If this post is inappropriate, please let me know where I can make this info available to this site's video connosieurs. I would hate to see it wind up in the trash (unless that's where it belongs).

I was thinking the same thing as soon as i read it
Video disc is not the same as Laser Disc, but some do call them the same.

It's an early 1981 Laserdisc player. Industrial and educational model. It was quite the toy to have back then. Dig the 80's retro faux wood-grain trim. If it still works and someone needs a laserdisc player, snag it. It can play any laserdisc made.

If anyone is interested in the Pioneer VP-1000 video disc player or has questions concerning IT, you can email ronalan@yahoo.com for more info. Ron also has 30 laser discs to go with the player.
