I'm creating a .dot file in Word that contains embedded VB controls (combo boxes, text boxes, labels). The problem arises whenever I attempt to open this file by double-clicking... all of the code for the embedded controls disappears. Also, if I try creating the same file as .doc instead of a .dot, I am the only one who can use the controls I coded. Once again, the code for the VB controls disappears.
Any help is appreciated.
thanks...

Ah Ha!!! Answered my own question. With a little fiddling, I fixed the issue myself. When a user opens the template by double clicking, the object is no longer Document_Open, the object is Document_New.
Everything is cool...
