I've just been checking the stats and noticed a few PW's haven't posted that much in other sub-forums here

if you take out OT (& closed topics) then what is your specialist field?

    DVD to DVDR: 1618 posts / 53.9%

it was a higher % for DVDR forum as 800 of my last 900 posts have been in OT since I was sucked in

    Off topic: 961 posts / 32.01%

I guess need to 'get out more' and stop hanging about it OT forums

quite a few fields there LS 8) whereas I'm only DVD backup myself. Basically I can rip, strip and customize just about any DVD. I've never really been a media person probably due to the lack of coasters so felt no need to investigate why

I've always wanted to know more about things like capturing though. I've never done much since I had my ATI AIW 32MB card on my old PIII 600 machine way back in 2000. Even then it was fun though the FPS and quality wasn't much to look at

I was more into overclocking in those days trying to squeeze every last bit of speed and performance out of my setup

How times have changed as everything PC related is so much easier these days and the challenge has gone out of most things

anyone else got more than 1618 posts in a forum apart from OT then?

only myself and LS have got over 1000 posts in another forum from what I've seen so far :P

I used to live in the DVDR forum back in 2003/4 . I also lived in the DVDR forum over at Doom9 and popped into a few of the other big forums when nothing was happening in the main 2. I was also (still am) a moderator over at DVDRBase as I had DVDStripper to support

man!! what a sad DVD backup geek I was , now I'm just a sad geek

You'd think that after the first eight or nine hundred you'd have figured out how to do it... :P

I'm all OT - I came to this site as an absolute newbie and most any question I had was already asked (and answered). I've read many of the guides, sifted through many of the forums but I know there's far more experienced people here (and they are willing to answer).

    Bad Dog!

I did start a thread about the closed topics ages ago but it got pulled so at least I got a few in there

:edit: I'm way behind you guys with 158 but I guess I didn't get sucked into the Calypso saga's looking for some online fun :P

p.s. I am in no way trying to promote that people should try to post in topics that eventually get locked

Computers. 60% of my posts lie there (that's over 1300 of them). OT is second with 30%. I quit PWing when cap and indo split, mostly because they tried to leak in on my turf so I followed them in here to bug them
