kvcd/kdvd presets

I have the newest version of ffmpegX and am trying to create kdvd content using the preset. Every time the process reaches the audio encoding process, the ffmpegx application ceases to encode any further. I took a look at the info log and it seems that it gives an estimated muxed file size then stops or never completes the process/task. I always end up with encoded video but no audio is ever successfully encoded in this new version. Has anyone else had this issue?
