  1. I live in the US and downloaded a concert that is a PAL dvd. It won't play on my US play but should in theory play on my computers dvdrom drive. However, when I play it I get great quality video, but NO AUDIO in any media player I try. Any ideas??
    Please help.

Have you ran it through Gspot or AVIcodec to identify the audio type?

Do what redwudz suggests. Also, did you consider the possibility that the person who made it available for downloading may not have known what they were doing? I am always amazed at how almost everyone who downloads video/music from unathorized sources just assumes that the person making it available knows what they are doing.
Second, despite what you said, what you downloaded may not really be a DVD. I have my doubts in your case. You may have downloaded a DivX file that is using a codec you don't have. In that case, identifying and installing the codec should fix your problem.
