Amazon cheapest for Toast 7?

Ive noticed that this site is active re Toast 7. amazon has it for 15% off free shipping.

can't tell about tax in Ca.

is this the cheapest site? know of a better one?

my precious owned copy is in the 5 series and early 6 series but the disks are not wherre I am now, and my only proof is to copy them which I won't be able to do for 3 months and somehnow I changed my email address and cant figure out how I regestered 6, as you recall the last 6 update required some email info thats on an old defunct email address i can't get to to get the password info

so Ill start again. 15 % is better than nothing.

but thanks for pointing out the ref for the download I looked at that and couldn't figure ot how to qualify

Looking at the Toast upgrade offer (with rebate) it's not clear if you actually get a boxed version as well as the opportunity to download. A printed manual would be nice.

id bet you only get the download with a downloaded manual, but Id go that route if I had my 'paperwork' in order, which I don't

The way it worked for me was I downloaded, was given a new serial number and was able to launch the app...but when I went to register on the web site, it wanted my user id and password from my previous Toast registration (which by the way it failed to recognize when I was purchasing the product—I had to re-register in order to buy it. But after I bought it, it recognized my older info.

It's for a boxed version and it does come with a printed manual - kudos to Roxio for still including printed manuals - most software doesn't anymore - especially Apple's stuff - they want you to buy the books.

The rebate applies to just about anyone - prior Toast, Jam, Popcorn, Boom Box customers, prior Sonic/Roxio PC software users, any iLife version and any Mac OS X version - c'mon - seems like everyone qualifies.

So currently upgading from the Roxio site is only if yu want to download the software now (it's not clear if one gets a boxed version sent later). If yu want the D and manual you have to pre order and wait a couple of weeks for the official releasse and shipping time.

use it once for the purchase and then can cancel

the rebate form says all you need to prove ilife or mac os x is a copy of the installation disc or a copy of the manual. no holes.

Well U25 you saved me a mint! with the 30 off visa that comes to 29$$

they will chage me CA tax, but pretty soon roxio and buy will be Paying me to take a copy.
