Hi,
I'm using Pinnacle studio 9 for authoring my DVD's. I'm looking for a setting to put more "minutes" to a DVD.
On the options a have the option "automatique" that gives me 131 min with PCM audio.
If I change the audio to MPA (MPEG-1) I got 185 minutes whitch is about 30 % more.
As I'm not so expreienced with this stuff, so I'm asking is that a good way to do the thing.
Thanx.

Yep, compressing the audio is good but it would be better with compressed ac3 audio, some few dvd players may have problem with mpeg audio.

Studio 9 Plus has Dolby 2.1 and 5.1 (add ons) which can give you more to DVD, plus using the Automatic setting in "Make Movie\Disc\Settings" will also give more file size to DVD. Using this setting lets Studio be in control of the bitrate for maxium usage. I've gotten over two hours plus at very good quality on a DVD. I know others have gotten more.
