    apple ram upgrade expensive so if anyone knows somewhere that sells/installs extra ram in the uk,thanks

    Not that hard to install ram in a powerbook.
    Go to Apple.com, clikc the Support link,
    and search for "powerbook memory upgrades."

    then go over to dealram
    and search for ram prices by your model of PB.
    Omni Tech is tops right now, followed by Data Mem.
