I have a AMD Athhlon XP 3000 with 1 GB of RAM and NVIDIA Ge Force FX 5200. When I capture analogue video with my DC10 capture board there are light diagonal wavy lines. Its not extremely noticeable, but lesser quality to be sure. It almost acts as if there is an electrical interference, but I don't think that's it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the hardware and software. I edit with Pinnacle version 8 with the latest upgrades. I have tried different analgue sources (vcr, camcorders) as well as different rca cables, to no effect. Same problem on composite as well as super VHS. Pinnacle support has not been able to help me. Any suggestions.

I started with a DC10+ but gave up after suffering no end of problems, both software-based and hardware-based. Bit the bullet and got an ADVC-100 and it was the best money I've ever spent on PC peripherals.
As for your problem, the only thing I can think of is to put your DC10+ in the PCI slot furtherest away from your power supply and any other PCI cards or your video card. I would think that it must be getting interference from something in your PC if changing the playback devices and cables hasn't solved the problem. If in doubt, Google it.
