I dont know how this happened but everytime I reboot my computer I get an initial try to open up this web page amateur-hotties. It only happens when I reboot my computer and since I am on a dial up the web page does not actually open but just get the blank explorer page. I have tried all the fixes. I got no viruses, I adawared and spybotted and I also used the startup program viewer and I can not see any startup program there. Any suggestions.

Have you tried running those antispyware programs in safe mode? If you hit F5 a few times while booting, it should get you there.

The other thing to do is Google for the name of the program as somebody else has probably successfully deleted it.

If ME shows 'processes' like XP, you may see the name of it there.

next time, stay away from those Russian porno sites!
what kind of anti-virus do you have? the free stuff is total crap ya know.
same for the free version of Ad-Aware, it really does nothing compared to the full version.
on some systems (mine for example) you have to press F8 to get to Safe Mode, BTW.
and there are ways to 'hide' processes from you so you can't see them in the Task Manager.
I had a similiar problem about 2 years ago -- everytime I booted (wheter a restart or not) Internet Explorer would open and try to go to some porn site and no matter how many times I closed it, it would just keep opening back up.
Turned out to be a Trojan Horse and was a total pain in the ass to get rid of.

I have the freeware AVG antivirus software that has done well for me when NORTON'S didn't detect the viruses. In my opinion there is no one antivirus software that is the BEST even when you have to pay for the damn thing. :P

Hijack this kicks ass for this type of thing. You could also delete you prefetch file. I would also check out your list of startup items under MSCONFIG.

Microsoft has a beta called MS AntiSpyware for a free download. It removed a few persistant programs (adware and spyware) that Norton could not (with the latest virii definitions). Since it worked for me, I give it a "thumbs up"!
