  1. Hello i'm a windows user and i would like to use final cut pro and dvd studio pro on Windows.

    Is that in any way possible?

    Absolutely, positively not. However, if you wait two years, the MacTel Macs will be out and you'll be able to run both OSX and Windows in "hardware native" modes so you'll be able to run anything.

    Another sollution is to buy an eMac today. They're under $1000 and include a DVD burner. You don't get the "pro" apps but you do get iMovieHD and iDVD. For mere mortals, those apps are usually more than adequate.

    While I like FCP and DVDSP, on the PC, using Adobe Premiere and Ulead DVD Workshop 2 is almost the same experience.

    The emulators do work, but what they're emulating is a pre-G3/G4/G5, maybe even a pre-PowerPC CPU. That means max OS version 7. What apps do you want to use that can run on that?

    You could grab a $499 Mac mini, hook an external DVD burner up to it (along with your current monitor, keyboard and mouse), install FCP and DVDSP and you're good to go.
