Opinion please. I have the Benq 1620 Pro (very happy with it). Now I can add another burner. I'm thinking of the Benq 1625. Is this burner better than the 1620? Also does anyone know the date release of the Benq1640 in the US. Thanks All.

You can find load of info on the Benq drives at CDFreaks

I think the only real advantage of the 1625 is lightscribe, but I don't remember.

The BENQ 1640 is already being sold at NEWEGG.COM.

My 1640 arrives tomorrow!!! :P In my opinion the 1625 lightscribe dvd media is quite pricey. It takes time for the lightscribing process to be created on the disc. I think it was like 20 minutes. I'd suggest getting the 1640.
