Hey everyone!
I purchased one of those old cybershot digital cameras that came with a SONY rechargable battery kit and everything but I have come to a point that I really do not want to purchase anymore batteries for a while and I have been using that recharger for a bit but now I have gotten used to the recharge of the batteries (for my dig cam) and I really hate to get crappy batteries all over again for anything else: wireless mouse, remotes etc. Could you guys suggest the best set of AA rechargable bateries including recharger that the marke has to offer? Where and how much? ARE THEY RELIABLE?
Thanks

IMO, they are all pretty equal, as long as you use NiMH batteries. Keep an eye on mAh tho, as that figure can vary. Bought a "El Cheapo" kit with charger + 4 AA for 9 Euro a year ago, heavy duty usage in portable CD players & cetera. For remotes, I don't find it worth it - their power consumption is so low, I find I rarely replace batteries more often than every other year.

I've been using PowerEx rechargeable NiMH batteries in my digicams for several years and have been very happy with them. Make sure you buy two sets (at least, depending on your usage) so that you always have a spare set charged and ready to go. You can find PowerEx batteries (and chargers) at Thomas Distributing (I'd post a link, but I don't know if that would be considered advertising under viewhelp's AUP ... google will lead you to Thomas Distributing).
