lol, just thought if there is a way to copyright your DVD/CD's... like the companies do. Any programs to do this?

Sorry if its a silly question, but it would be cool.

Copyright? or Copy protect? The first is easy, the second is impossible.

Yes, even those topics explains companies pay millions to stop this kinda thing... what gives me the right to do that???

Well... i didnt want to go that far... lol.
just a simple copy-protection DVD... meaning people who know how to copy a dvd properly using AnyDVD etc... deserve to have the copy.

All im trying to do is make a copy-protection for people who think they can copy over the VIDEO_TS from the disc and burn it. I know obviosly you cant fully protect a dvd as there are ways, but some people dont know the way do they?

... until they input "copy DVD" into google, and end up here in about 5 seconds. The numbers have seriously changed over the last few years or so, with DVD burners now being relatively affordable for the vast majority of people, and not just hobbyists or people who were seriously "into" DVD (and these were the only people who knew the "proper" way to copy DVDs). It's truly and seriously not worth it, except for the 10% or so that would be so dense to think that they could just Copy and Paste.
    If in doubt, Google it.

I remember the first time i tried to copy a dvd, first try it didnt work, came out pixelated. The second time i used CloneCD and walla! worked 2nd time.

So i can see your points... forget i even mentioned it, i just wondered thats all.

    Peace to u all

You still have to license it, doesn't work until you do.
