Before I take this stuff back, I need to make sure I'm not doing anything stupid. First, I got a great deal on a 3.5" floppy adapter for my digital camera so I can use a SD card. My first worry was that it may not work with my camera (but at $6 I had to try). The adapter is JVC, the camera is Sony. Does the camera know the difference?
I was able to install the software on my computer but was not able to format the SD card. I took it to another computer I have and was able to format it. But, the capacity only shows 1.44MB. It seems to work fine (at 1.44MB) in computers but the camera displays "Format error" when it is loaded. How am I supposed to make it get to it's true capacity?
Is there any way to tell which of the components is at fault for certain?

Rather than formating the card in your PC, try to format it in your camera.

Thanks, I tried that as well. Turns out it was something stupid. My camera doesn't use SD cards. It uses Sony's memory sticks. Damn. I still wonder why it won't format correctly in my computer?
