Since I upgraded from the canopus ADVc100 to the ADVC300 both programs, Windows movie maker and Win DV stop capturing when recording a troubled VHS tape w/ dropped frames that Im trying to restore...this never happened before I upgraded to the ADVC300 ...same tape same VCR recorded smooth...when there's a brief bad spot in the tape both programs stop or in the case of Win DV freezes?...any suggestions from the more experienced would be greatly appreciated.....TR

I called canopus and they said they are aware or the issue but have no solution at this time?...what a joke ! beware anybody wanting to buy the canopus ADVC 300 of this problem. I hope to find a solution on my own.
