I need to find out how to get a high quality still picture from a DVD. Does anyone know what program I need and how to use it. Any information would be great. Thank You

Easiest method is to use the "Screen shot" function provided by many software DVD players, like PowerDVD. But as max DVD picture resolution is 720*576 (PAL), that's how good it gets.

They should make a sticky for this question.
Wait a minute..... It's already there:
Sticky: How to capture a photo off a dvd or mpeg file?

I think the poster may be hoping to get a grab that ia as good as a high rez image file and not just how to to a normal screen capture with a player app.
But then again maybe not.
You cannot get a frame grab that exceeds what the video resolution is. If it is NTSC normal DVD it will probably be only 720 x 480 which is simply not good enough for any serious image work.No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!
