DVD+RW

Hi i bought a pack of DVD+RW cd's and when i drag files into the cd it won't let me. I heared i have to format the DVD+Rw cd before i can use it and was wondering how i would do this.

Right Click on your DVD Burner in my computer and select format.

BTW, these are DVDs not CDs correct? In either case, you can use the above method to format either rewriteable disc.

you mean right click on the cd in the burner drive and click format? well my systems in german but i still dont see any option like that.IS there any other way to do it. And yes they are dvd.

If you are using a CD Burner, this option will not be available for DvD media as your burner is not capable of burning DVD+RWs.

yea its dvd rewritable capable looked it up.

Try using software to write the files to disc, Nero etc.. Your problem is probably being caused by trying to drag and drop straight to disc.
