  1. Is it possible to create a DVD slideshow in which you can go through the pics at your own pace? If so, is there a way to do this while music is playing? I've been searching to find this without success.

    Thanks,
    Eric

  2. Yes, you can think of the slides as menu pages. These may be switched as you like (next/previous/first/last...). There may also be music, BUT it is not possible to have continuous music (each 'slide' has its own audio)

  3. Maybe FlipAlbum Pro 6 will do what you want...

This is in fact how most professional DVD slideshows are constructed.

  5. proshow gold for easy slide show creation with transitions, music, sound fx etc. otherwise go for an NLE (premeir, vegas, avid etc)

i dont think its possible to create a slideshow the way you want.

with the slideshow programs it merges the sound with the pictures so you cant really view at your own pace (moving next and Prev through pictures) and have the music in the background. ( I could be wrong )

i noticed you have a dvd player that accepts JPG's on CD's

you could wack all your photos on a CD as JPG's and view that way. i havnt done this before but im assumimg you can go next and prev through the JPG's.

background music , you could turn the radio on
