  3. It's YALGEM.

(Yet Another LG Electronics Model). LG made it, GoVideo slapped their name on it.

I'm a big fan of LG Electronics DVD Recorders..they use the LSI chipset and it works nicely.

Give it a shot...Costco has the easiest return policy on the planet. They make Wal*Mart shake in their boots.

Well, I've already returned it. I could not copy discs in my stand-alone DVD duplicator. Shame... I liked features it had, but it also did not play back with the added 7.5 black level. It played back at zero which is a no no here in North America. It also did not strip the 7.5 from VHS tapes and did a bad job of copying the VHS to DVD - tracking was horrible. I bought a mid range Samsung with no VHS and it made a much better copy from VHS but the DVD was NOT copyable on my stand alone duplicator which has been flawless since I have had it and burned close to 3000 discs on it. So I will try a Panasonic next. By thge way, the CyberHome cheapy player at Walmart and Circuit City plays back with the correct black levels. They have a recorder for $100 and I wonder how good it does.
