    A friend of mine has an Aureal Vortex Sound Card with AU8820B2 chipset . I searched on the net but did not find any drivers for Win. XP. What can I do ? On Win. Millennium this audio card works fine, I like it`s sound, cristal clear...Please help me. Win Millennium & 98 are ... old ... and full of bugs...

    Aureal is out of business. There are no official drivers for 2000/XP. There are some hacked 98 drivers, but they are extremely unstable and cause nothing but problems (read: system freezes and looping BSOD).

    Ditch it and get something that runs under XP. That's what I did with mine.
