    I know this player can play VCDs but I have been having problems trying to play any type of SVCD.

    Please let me know.

    I've tried pretty much every configuration on this player, and the only format I got working properly was VCD or XVCD at a resolution of 352_240. So I went out and bought an Apex AD-1500 from Circuit City for $79 just for my SVCDs and high-res VCDs. It can play everything that the SD-6200 can't.
