  1. hi, i dont know if im in the right place or not but.. is there a way you can shrink or reduce the size of a video file such as avi, wmv, or mpeg??

    That question might be able to get answered here. Do you want to reduce file size, reduce the resolution or display size, both....?

    Being a little more specific on what format you have and what you want will help. Or what you trying to accomplish. There's too many variables to answer that question without knowing a little more.

    Simple answer, you lower the bitrate when encoding and that will make a file smaller. (And the quality lower. Can't have one without the other )

  4. wells im heer to learn soo how would u reduce both size and resolution..?? and how do you lower the bitrate when encoding ??? how do i encode it??? what software do i use to encode avi, mpeg wmv????????
