Any guide to show how to squeeze 2-DVDs As Is onto 1-DVD
    i) with no/minimal additioal work?
ii) with significantly reduced birate rate?

    ***** Original DVD Info *******************************

    A) Both original DVDs have 5 VOBs/3 IFOs ( Root Menu/2 Scene sub Menus ), and up to 4.3 GB data each.

    B) I guess that I need to add one top menu pointing to the Root Menus of the two original DVDs

    ************************************************** **

Under this scenario, how to reduce the birate rates?

    Thanks.

Use dvdremake pro to put the two dvds into one. Use dvdrebuilder to reencode to fit one dvd. You will probably have to set dvdrebuilder to encode at 1/2 d1.

    ^^

What he said. DVDRemake Pro can easily join the two DVDs in one click, and add a top level menu to select between the two.

Then use your favorite transcoder, or re-encode using DVDRB. Bear in mind that your results will have significantly reduced quality, as well as bitrate
    If in doubt, Google it.
