I read someplace that TMPGEnc doesn't timecode it's video and audio when it encodes, causing the video/audio to slowly drift apart during playback (On Stand along Players). I have had video/audio sync problems from TMPGEnc files, but haven't had any from Panasonic or bbMPEG. Is this timecode a real fault in TMPGEnc and if so, is there a way to fix this problem? Would de-multiplexing and re-multiplexing the files help this?
Thanks.
