    If you mean windows media video (wmv) then windows movie maker will do it for you (xp only though).

    windows media player??? windows media player can play many formats. or do you mean wmv? then try windows movie maker and windows media encoder.

    The Tools section probably isn't a bad place to start.

    As mentioned, Windows Media Player will play many formats, so you might need to be a bit more specific.
    If in doubt, Google it.
