  1. i used vsodivxtodvd this time to convert my divx to dvd. It converted fine but it only made a video_ts folder with files and no audio. In my earlier post i couldnt get the audio to work when using another program. Before I burn this one and waste another dvd I want to see if theres anything I should do

Any DVD Authoring program in the world ATM will create an empty AUDIO_TS folder when making DVD_Video, as it's for DVD-Audio format, which still isn't mainstream AFAIK. Your video and audio should both be in the VOBS in the VIDEO_TS folder.

Can you play the DVD off your hard drive in PowerDVD, WinDVD or using IFOEdit's inbuilt player by loading the VIDEO_TS.IFO file ?

Are you playing the burnt DVD on your PC, or on a settop DVD player ?

Does your DVD have AC3 audio ?

Does your PC have an AC3 codec installed ?

Install GSpot 2.52 Beta, and then open one of the VOB files in the VIDEO_TS folder in it. Take a screenshot of it and post back here - there's a guide here for help with screenshots
    If in doubt, Google it.

Convert the file to and iso file and load it on deamon and play it to make sure it works. Then burn the iso with DVD Decrypter if it works.

That's why I said to use 2.52 Beta - it actually shows info from MPEGs
    If in doubt, Google it.

OK, now is there no sound playing the burnt DVD on your PC, or on your settop DVD player ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

What about playing off the burnt DVD disc itself (instead of the files in the VIDEO_TS folder on your hard drive) on your PC ?

192kbps 48KHz 2-ch AC3 audio should play on any (and every) settop - is there anything with your player setup (surround sound, etc etc) that could possibly be muted, or DVD input isn't selected, or something like that ?
    If in doubt, Google it.
