  1. I am setting up a Media Center PC, and I'm going to put a gargantuan amount of hard drive space on it. I'm talking a couple Terabytes if needed. It is going to be a dedicated media machine with all my movies, music, and maybe pictures on it. What I would like to do is rip every DVD I own onto it so that I can just store my entire collection on the machine, and access them all at the click of a button.

I know how to rip the vob files off, and I can view those fine, and I even have some software that will rip them to .avi or .mpg. But my probem is, that those programs always compress the video so much that they look crappy on my bigscreen.

Is there a way to rip the dvd files to my hard drive, and have media center be able to access them as DVD's so that when I choose a movie, I have the menu and everything else like that available? And, I don't want it to be compressed either. It looks horrible! That's why I'm putting so much space on the machine.

    Thanks.

  2. Ok, supposing I use one of those tools, or a tool like DVD Shrink to rip the DVD, and I have the ifo or the video ts folder. How can I implement that into Media Center so that it can be obtainable in the library with the click of my remote?
 Very funny Scotty, now beam down my clothes.
