I've got a number of VHS-tapes I'm borrowing, and
I've been encoding them all to mpeg2 with Dazzle DV Creator II. The mpeg2 looks really good, and converting
to VCD with TMPgenc works just fine.
On the other hand, once I go to SVCD I get these sort of horizontal lines once there's a lot of motion. It's ecspecially bad when the whole camera is moving (these are all private recordings).
I've done a couple of miniDV > firewire > AVI > TMPgenc > SVCD, and I'm not experiencing this problem then.

I'm in a hurry returning these tapes, and would very
much appreciate some feedback.

VHS > Dazzle DV Creator II > MPEG2 > TMPgenc.
TMPgenc-settings:
-Constant bitrate (tried both high and low bitrates)
-Motion search: Highest quality
-Using noise reduction filter (HQ)
-Video arrange method: Full screen

Left everything else default settings.

Again, any ideas or feedback is very much appreciated.
