Adding a video clip before the main menu ?

I am making a multi episode DVD, but I want a preview video to play before the main menu starts. Can someone point me in the right direction? Preferred program?

Most authoring programs can do this, although some do it better than others. If you are already making a DVD, what software are you currently using ? The option you are looking for is usually referred to as First Play or similar.

DVD Lab / DVD Lab Pro make it very easy to do by having a first play object that you just link to you asset. Tmpgenc DVD Author also allows for a first play itme, but is is much clumsier and relies on a menu being in place.

I was using DVD Author, but looks like I may be changing software. I visited DVDLab's web site and it looks like that may be my answer.
