    When i use DVD-Rebuilder with procoder 2, the total output size is 4.31GB shouldn't it be 4.35GB. How could I fix this and also how could I improve the encode speed, it takes me 6 hours to encode one dual-layer disc.

  2. Hi-

    Max for DVD+R is about 3.77 GB. To increase the final size, increase the CCETargetSectors size in the Rebuilder.ini. However, the final size is variable. The closer you get to max DVDR size, the more often you'll go over and the more often you'll have to start over again. For starters you might try:

    CCETargetSectors=2250000

    Stick that in the [Options] section, up near the top.

    ...how could I improve the encode speed...

    You could use a faster encoder. However, nothing wrong with 6 hours. Quality takes time. You could always go back to DVDShrink. It's real fast.

    Get a second HDD and use one for source and the other for the target destination. That will buy you some performance gains. Add another 256 mb of memory would help. 256mb is about the minimum for XP. I have 3 times the memory you have, and use multiple HDDs. I also use CCE. I get a DVD RB build out in around 4 - 5 hours, depending on the length of the movie.
