    I've noticed that, when adding subtitles to my movies using the subfilter plugin and virtualdub, the subs in italics aren't displayed that way. Only within a pair of and tags. When i playback the movie (before adding in the subtitles) using VobSub, the subtitles are displayed properly and are italized where they should be. Any idea what should be done?

    Use textsub instead. VSFilter contains, DirectVOBSub as well as vobsub and textsub plugins for VDub and AVISynth.
