  1. hello ! im having some issues with my capturing.... at some point in the captured video, a white box appers in the middle, it takes about 60% of the screen in the middle... it last for seconds, it appears at some points in the video... i try using vdub 1.6.6 and vdub 1.5.10, with no compression or with picvideo mjpeg, with nvidia and microsoft wmd drivers (latest) ... all the combinaisons gave me the same problem ... i have a msi fx5600 vtdr128 vid card .. anyone got solutions ? thx

    What are you capturing ? VHS ? TV ?

  3. im importing from a little vhs casette from an old vhs cam, superhg is the name... i put it in a vhs casette adapter ... i put it in a vcr with rca output ....
    the thing is , i see the image is alrite, outside of the white box, upper and down of it ... strange

    It sounded to me like Macrovision, but since this is cam footage, AFAIK that's not possible !

    Can you upload a screenshot to show exactly what you're seeing ?

    Hi,
    Yes it is Macrovision..I get the same thing..When the VHS tape is noisy,it triggers the Macrovision copyguard system even though it is a home video..
    It is caused by the WDM driver in my case that includes this "feature"?
    My capture card is useless now because of it..Many others have this problem too..
    Do a search to learn more about it..

  8. i search the forum for solution... and found it... i ve have already made a serch before opening this post, with keyword white box, but didn t find anything... sorry hehe ... i went back to wmd driver 1.08, solve the problem ! thx for helping ppl

    That driver doesn't provide the same quality as the newer ones, you may want to consider getting one of the SIMA products. I was getting that whit box on my Geforce VIVO card and the Sima removed it.
