I recently found some custom artwork (DVD Covers) for Slim 8 DVD cases and was very impressed with the quality. http://www.rixgrafix.com/index_064.htm
Does anyone have links to other good DVD cover artwork?

Wow, they are pretty good - thanks for the link!
This is probably somewhere you know, of but http://www.cdcovers.cc/covers.php has some good original & custom covers - not all for the 8 or 10 DVD cases but a few.
Will be interested to see what else there is out there...

These are the best sites. There are others, but they just take the covers from these. How do I know? I've been involved in the cover community since the beginning (and I moderate one of the forums for one of the sites).

Possible reasons for searching the internet for DVD cover scans....
1) My scanner is broken
2) My dog ate my original DVD case and cover
3) I don't own a scanner
4) My dog ate my scanner's power/USB cord
5) I tried making covers with Crayons and colored
Sharpies but my friends made fun of them...resulting in HUGE bills from my psychotherapist.
6) I like "hinting" that I am merely copying rental DVD's....it makes me feel like a rebel.

How about CD coverart?
I was putting all of my audio cassettes on CD but stopped when they shut down all the CD coverart websites I was using. I can't stand the new music of the last ten years or so and I refuse to purchase new CDs of all of my cassettes.
I guess if people didn't really sit on the street corners of LA (or Anycity USA) and try to sell homemade copies of CDs and DVDs, then Sony and Disney wouldn't be so eager to skrew the average consumer who is only interested in backing up their music and movie collection.

jesus people, try reading a damn web page rather than just look for something to click on - even when its given to you, you dont.

You want everyone's personal information so you can sell it and want to slam them with pop-ups, spyware or computer virus?
You didn't say which website you own so that everyone can be sure to stay away from it.
we definately don't need you coming in here and telling everyone they're stupid.

as far as which website it is, as from what I read of your assuptions in the reply you posted, you're probably too stupid to figure it out anyway - as far as me "telling everyone they are stupid" well if they cant read a registration page and take the necessary steps because tey have a stick up their but about doing it, well then my board just stays that much more friendlier with the people that are already there, and we dont need to have to deal with the likes of that.
because unfortunately its not just a matter of log in, grab and run...forum participation is not only required, it is programmed to be a necessity in order to get anything. I wont have a bunch of micreants only looking to leech and disappear, which apparently you seem to be, so....we're better off without you anyway.
Have a miserable day.
As far as the other question regarding what is wrong with cdcovers.cc...well if you have to ask that then you wouldnt really understand the pridetaken behind some of the work at the suggested sites anyway.

www.covers.to and www.dvdcoverart.org are excellent alternatives
www.cdcovers.cc is low res ... they look bad on screen, in Photoshop, printed out ... everywhere... if you like that fine, but few people do
hech54, here's the one I tend to use:
7) The DVD was bought used without art, or the DVD (used or new) was really cheap ($5 bin at Walmart) and the case/art was damaged. New case, new printout, you're all set!
Did that just last night, sort of. Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure movie, bought for $5, but case/art damaged. Made a new one. In fact, made a color correction, so I think the replacement now looks better than the original (had too much red in it, they looked sunburned).Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

First of all, I just want to make one thing perfectly clear. I didnt come here "to praise your own elitist members-only site and attack members of this site", so lets not make a mountain out of a mole hill and get carried away here. I came here becasue I saw this in another forum and saw my site referral reports and wanted to know what was up - I know I never posted links here to the place, nor do I do that anywhere (in fact, I specifically ask people NOT to), so I didnt come here looking for any praise - I came here to find out why there is a link to my site and who put it up, becasue I ask my members to please not do that.
OK, I can respect the position of the rules and yes, I understand that I may have overstepped a bit and I apologize, to the mods, for that.
Regardless of that, and speaking of which, rules are rules and they are different from place to place - you have yours and I have mine. There are very good reasons why I have my particular rules and procedures in place and I dont really have to justify what they are to anybody, just as you dont with yours. If you want to see that as elitist, well thats your perogative, but it doesnt change the fact my rules are just that...MY rules...berating me for expressing mine regarding my place while threatening me with yours at your place seems a bit elitist as well, so Im willing to call it even.
Im not asking you to change your rules, all I am asking is that I would like my link removed - Id ask the author, but the author has been banned from here so thats not an option I can persue.
